VHN, Transition, Deaf Support & Rehabilitation Services

Whatever disabilities, injuries or health concerns you may have, Geneva Healthcare can support you to reach your goals and aspirations with personalised rehabilitation support services. We can provide you with Very High Needs (VHN) Support, Transition Services, Deaf and Hearing Impaired Support, as well as Physical Therapy and Art Therapy, so you can live independently, and enjoy living in your community.

Our services are free for those eligible for public funding. Private funded care is also available.

Very High Needs (VHN) Support

We can help you reach your goals and aspirations with individualised funding support tailored to your specific needs. We’ll help you manage what support you need to live your best life.

Transition Services

If you’re a school leaver or aged 16 – 21 and have a health condition or Very High Needs ORS funding, we can help you to continue your studies, find a job or work experience, and do the things you enjoy in your community.

We can provide Transition Services for both ORS funded and non-ORS funded students.

Deaf Support Services

Geneva provides a variety of services for the Deaf and Hearing Impaired community. Our Deaf Support Service will guide you through the whole process. Our dedicated team of full time NZSL users and interpreters will be there to assist you to reach your goals and aspirations.

Rehabilitation Services

We provide Rehabilitation therapies to help you recover from an injury or manage your disability.

  • Group or individually rehabilitation
  • Physiotherapy: musculoskeletal, respiratory and neurological
  • Occupational, mobility and sport therapy
  • Art Therapies: art, dance, music and drama

THRIVE @ Geneva Healthcare

THRIVE is a Ministry of Social Development (MSD) funded programme that helps young school leavers with diverse abilities achieve their personal best. We work with you to develop a personalised life plan around community participation based on your goals, needs, capabilities, and aspirations.
