Geneva Takes A New Spin On Global Change Day Campaign

Change Day is about doing something, no matter how big or small, to improve the healthcare experience for everyone. Change Day first exploded onto the world stage in 2013 when the UK campaign, led by healthcare frontline staff, gathered just under two hundred thousand online pledges. In previous years, New Zealand contributed to the global goal by getting as many pledges on improvements that people can action.

This year, Geneva Healthcare leads New Zealand’s Change Day movement by taking a new spin on the traditional “Pledge Campaign” and focusing instead on the actual activations of the Pledge Projects. “We want to focus on the actions that make a real difference, ‘Walk the Talk’ and lead by example. This will ensure that Kiwis will feel the wave of positive changes around us through Change Day”, says Veronica Manion, Geneva Chief Executive.

From May onwards, Geneva Staff across the country have taken on five key initiatives to activate that support groups across the healthcare sector including the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Social Development, ACC, District Health Boards and Cerebral Palsy Society.
