Support Workers – Island Bay, Wellington

We’re looking for two support workers to share these shifts:

Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 3.00pm

Monday and Wednesday, 4.00pm to 7.30pm.

Your duties will include (but not limited to): Personal cares: showering, dressing, toileting. Plus reading stories, playing music, going for walks, taking client out into the community, shopping etc

What you will need:

• Previous experience with challenging behaviours in healthcare would be advantageous
• Be able to start immediately
• Full or restricted drivers licence and have your own reliable vehicle
• Be a NZ citizen/permanent resident or have a relevant work visa with more than 12-month expiry date
• Can satisfactorily pass a Police Vetting Check
• Provide two work related (managers) referees
