Geneva Healthcare is currently looking for Support Workers who are energetic, willing to learn, and have a caring, fun, and compassionate nature, to assist client based in Thames, Waikato who is non-verbal.

This is more than just a job – you will be providing invaluable support.

As a Support Worker you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Level 2-4 qualification in healthcare.
  • Able to work with challenging behaviour clients.
  • Trained with Autism and Epilepsy Management.
  • Personal cares and home help.

Requirements:

  • Be able to start immediately.
  • Be a good communicator, patient, and calm –someone who is genuinely interested in people and can build meaningful relationships.
  • Honest, reliable with complete integrity.
  • Must have a clean and valid Restricted/Full driver’s license & own transport.
  • Must be eligible to work in NZ.
  • Subject to clean police clearance check.

Immediate Shifts to start with:

  • 3 hours per week – during the day, and possibly 1 weekend.

*Candidate must be flexible to starting slightly earlier or later/longer hours
