As a Counsellor/Psychotherapist, you will provide client-focused psychological support and therapy across a range of services, including ACC, PHO, and Te Whatu Ora contracts. You will be responsible for: 🔹 Conducting client assessments and developing intervention plans 🔹 Delivering therapeutic modalities such as CBT, ACT, or EMDR 🔹 Supporting clients in achieving positive, sustainable mental health outcomes 🔹 Ensuring documentation is accurate and aligned with professional standards 🔹 Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care
✅ Full registration with NZAC or the NZ Psychotherapists Board ✅ Current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) ✅ Experience delivering a range of therapeutic modalities ✅ Willingness to register for the ACC Sensitive Claims Contract ✅ Excellent communication & time management skills ✅ Full NZ Driver’s Licence (for community-based roles)
