What is aged care? Aged care is support designed to help older people live safely, comfortably, and independently. It can include home care, home help, day care for elderly, personal care, companionship, and specialised services such as dementia or palliative care.
Can I stay in my own home and still receive aged care? Yes. Many people prefer to remain at home, and our aged care services are designed to support you there. Our trained Support Workers can provide everything from daily household help to specialised health support, so you can continue living where you feel most comfortable.
How do I know if I qualify for funded aged care services? You may be eligible for government-funded support through your local NASC (Needs Assessment and Service Coordination) team, or through ACC if your need is related to an injury. If you don’t qualify, or you’d like additional help, you can arrange private aged care directly with us.
How quickly can aged care services start? If you’re applying through NASC or ACC, the process depends on assessment times. For private care, we can usually arrange support very quickly, sometimes within just a few days.
Will I have the same Support Worker each time? We know consistency matters. We do our best to provide the same Support Worker or a small, regular team, so you feel comfortable and supported.
