We are currently searching for a team of Support Workers to help care for our client in Mt Eden, Central Auckland. Our client is 18 years of age who suffers with birth asphyxia. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced support worker to progress their career further, as well as a rewarding role where you will not only make a difference in our client’s life but also their families. You will receive extensive theoretical and practical training for the competencies needed for this role.

If you are willing to travel to Central Auckland, highly experienced in healthcare or have previous experience with PEG feeding and suctioning. Then this is the job for you!

Typical duties:

  • Home Help (e.g. Cleaning, washing, and meal preparations)
  • Personal Cares (e.g. Showers and dressing)
  • Driving client around surrounding areas (e.g. Taking him out for the day or to appointments)

We are looking to fill the following shifts:

  • Monday – Friday – 3:00pm-6:00pm
  • Saturdays 9:00am-1:00pm

Requirements:

  • Healthcare experience is essential
  • Level 3 or 4 Support Worker
  • Must have a clean and valid driver’s license & own transport
  • Must be eligible to work in NZ
  • Have a compatible smartphone – iOS 10+ or higher, or Android 5+ (Don’t have one? You can still apply – we have options available to secure a phone for you with weekly payment options)
  • Subject to clean police clearance check
