Community Support worker -Dunedin (Part time)

This is a Client Specific role and we are looking for Support Workers who are energetic, willing to learn, and have a caring, fun, and compassionate nature, to assist our client based in Wakari, Dunedin.

This is a role where no two days are the same. You will have the ability to work one on one with our clients, to ensure they live their best life possible.

Requirements:

  • Must have a clean and valid Full driver’s license & own transport.
  • Must have right to work in NZ.
  • Must have a clean and valid police check.
  • Must be available to work on weekends

As a Support Worker you will have the following attributes:

  • Assist clients with personal cares, showering, feeding
  • bladder/bowelcare/toileting, grooming, medication
  • Basic household duties and meal preparation.
  • Willingness to learn new skills.
  • Promote independence in the home.
  • Mobility assistance.
  • Create a direct meaningful impact on the lives of people in the community.
  • Bring in your commitment, compassion and your communication skills.
  • Training will be provided.
