Ways to Honour Waitangi 2020

Waitangi day honours the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi in 1840 between the British Crown and 500 Māori chiefs.

“Waitangi Day is a day for all New Zealanders to remember the partnership of which we are all a part. It is also the time for us to join together in celebrating our vibrant cultural heritage and looking towards the future. Mā te whiritahi, ka whakatutuki ai ngā pūmanawa ā tangata – Together weaving the realisation of potential”

Joel Soma, Kaiwhakahaere Ranga/Team Manager at Geneva Healthcare

Ngāi Te Rangi, Ngāti Ranginui, Ngāti Pukenga, Waitaha
