What are ACC nursing services? ACC nursing services consist of clinical care and support provided at home by a Registered Nurse for people recovering from an injury, accident, or surgery. They are funded by ACC when part of an accepted claim.
Who can receive ACC-funded nursing care? If you’ve had an injury or surgery covered by ACC and require clinical support during your recovery, you may be eligible for nursing services at home.
What types of care do nurses provide under ACC? Our nurses provide wound care, post-operative support, medication management, pain management, continence care, and regular health monitoring.
How do I access ACC nursing services? Your GP, hospital team, or healthcare provider can refer you to ACC. Once approved, you can ask for Geneva Healthcare as your preferred provider.
Is the service fully funded by ACC? Yes. If your injury is accepted by ACC and nursing support is required as part of your recovery plan, the service is fully funded.
Can I receive additional nursing care beyond what ACC provides? Yes. If you’d like more nursing visits or extended support, you can choose to top up with private care alongside your ACC-funded service.
