What types of conditions do you support? We provide care for a wide range of health and injury-related needs, including long-term conditions, disabilities, developmental challenges, and recovery after accidents or illness. Each care plan is tailored to the child’s individual situation.
What is specialised care for children and youth? Specialised care means providing personalised support that considers the unique medical, developmental, emotional, and social needs of children and young people. It often involves a combination of nursing, support work, rehabilitation, and family collaboration.
Why is specialised care important for children and young people? Children and youth are still developing physically, emotionally, and socially. Specialised care ensures their needs are met in a way that promotes independence, growth, and inclusion, while giving families the confidence that their child is receiving safe, expert care.
Can this care be funded? Yes, if your child has injury-related needs, some or all of the care may be funded. We can guide you through the process and work directly with the NASC or ACC to make it as simple as possible.
Where is care provided? Care can be provided at home, at school, or in the community—wherever your child needs support to thrive.
Do you offer respite care for families? Yes. Respite care is an important part of our service, giving families time to rest and recharge while their child is cared for by trained professionals.
