Work Solutions, part of NZ Health Group, offers a range of personalized programs to help people manage their health and well-being post-injury, illness, or disability. With a team of highly skilled professionals, they provide a person-centered, strength-based approach that focuses on solutions tailored to individual needs.

Their Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS) help prevent workplace injuries and support individuals in successfully returning to work or becoming work-ready. They are a lead provider for ACC’s VRS service and are the preferred provider for a number of large New Zealand employers and insurers.

About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to join the team in a full-time, permanent role within the Waikato region. This dynamic, community-based position involves working across various clients and contracts, including ACC’s Stay at Work and Back to Work services, as well as private insurers and third-party administrators.

As a part of your role, you will support individuals in returning to their pre-injury work environment by developing and implementing tailored rehabilitation plans. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to see the direct impact of your work as clients progress through their rehabilitation journey.

The position is community-focused, meaning you will be working in a range of settings including homes, workplaces, and schools. Ideal candidates will thrive in a people-centered environment and enjoy the variety and challenges that come with working in different contexts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide vocational rehabilitation services to clients across multiple contracts
• Develop tailored rehabilitation plans that support a return to pre-injury work
• Work collaboratively with clients, families, employers, and other healthcare professionals
• Travel across the Waikato region, working in a variety of community and workplace settings
• Foster strong relationships with the community, clients, and colleagues

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of experience as a NZ Registered Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist
• Experience with Vocational Rehabilitation and ACC Vocational Rehabilitation Services Contracts is preferred
• Post-graduate qualification in Vocational Rehab is an advantage but not essential
• Strong understanding of, and commitment to, Te Tiriti o Waitangi
• Current NZ Registration with NZOT or NZPT
• Passion for ongoing learning and professional development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and travel across the Waikato region
• Full, clean NZ driver’s license
