Female Support Worker | Dunedin

We’re committed to providing exceptional support services for our clients and currently looking for an experienced, flexible and outgoing Female Support Worker to join our team to work with one of our clients having OSTEOARTHRITIS, MENIERES DISEASE, HEARING LOSS, CHRONIC BACK PAIN, based in Dunedin.

As a Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with unique needs contributing to their overall wellbeing to lead fulfilling lives.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualification in Healthcare, disability support or related field
  • A clean Police check
  • Competency in PEG Feed and Hoist handling
  • Proficient in delivering high quality personal care and home help support
  • Own transport with a clean and valid Restricted/Full driver’s license
  • Legitimate NZ work rights
  • Strong communication, time management and organizational skills
  • Professionally presentable, adaptable, mature and flexible

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily tasks such as personal care, bathing, PEG feeding
  • Usage of hoist equipment correctly and efficiently
  • Managing general home help, mobility, positioning and grooming
  • Assist to take client out for shopping (when required)

Available Shifts:

  • 6 hours a week (with the opportunity to pick up more shifts as they become available)
