Geneva Healthcare can provide specialist support to people living with age related conditions, enabling older people to remain independent and living in their own home, staying comfortable in their familiar environment
It has been highlighted that one of the main stressors for a dementia sufferer is the change of their environment, episodes of loud noise, large groups of people and disruption in daily routine so remaining at home can be now be a viable option with specialist home support.
Palliative and end of life care provides people with humane and dignified support services. It focuses on providing patients with relief from the symptoms, pain, and stress of a serious illness—whatever the diagnosis. The goal is to improve quality of life for both the patient and the family.
From your first contact with Geneva Healthcare, your Care Co-ordinator will discuss the type of support you require and will then arrange a Clinical or Service Co-ordinator to either come to your home or call to complete an individual service delivery plan fits in with the natural care that is already provided by family and those living in the home with them. From here, a Support Worker will be allocated to you and will start providing your care.
Our caregivers have extensive knowledge and experience in working with people with age related conditions. They will come into your home to provide care and assistance that is specific to your requirements.
Jamie Shirlaw, a Clinical Coordinator for Geneva Healthcare talks about the importance of health and how we as a company ensure the people we support are supported in a way that best suits their needs and their choice to be healthy.
