Disability Support

Geneva Healthcare are able to offer in home support and care for people living with a disability as well as respite for the family members caring for them.

We have provided a variety of services to support clients in their own home and also assisted our clients to participate in their community and other events that are of interest to them.

These may include:

  • Domestic support
  • Personal care
  • Transport assistance
  • Specialist care from a nurse
  • Overnight in-home respite care
  • Support with acquired brain injury and learning disabilities
  • Coaching in activities of everyday living
  • Bowel and bladder management
  • Positioning
  • Skin integrity
  • Catheter care
  • Supervision of medication
  • Blood glucose monitoring

From your first contact with Geneva Healthcare, your Care Co-ordinator will discuss the type of support you require and will then arrange a Clinical or Service Co-ordinator to either come to your home or call to complete an individual service delivery plan fits in with the natural care that is already provided by family and those living in the home with them. From here, a Support Worker will be allocated to you and will start providing your care.

Our team of caregivers and health care professionals have extensive knowledge and experience in working with children and adults with disabilities. They will come into your home to provide care and assistance that is specific to your requirements.
