As we are experts in the attraction and recruitment of health staff in our everyday business, we are happy to pass on this expertise to you, especially if you’re not looking to use a full agency service to your home support.
Geneva Healthcare will work with you to assess the types of skills and experience you require from a carer. Once this is agreed on, our carer attraction process begins. We create an advertisement in consultation with you and place it in various mediums including on our website, online job boards and your local paper. Our high-volume advertising contracts mean that you can take advantage of our discounted advertising rates as part of our package.
We then start short listing appropriate applicants, screen their suitability, conduct interviews and skills testing. We then check the suitable applicants’ criminal history and where children are concerned, we run a check with Child Youth and Family.
We like our clients to be as involved as they prefer. You may wish to be part of the screening and interview process to ensure the correct fit.
Once you have selected the successful caregiver, the employer/employee relationship then becomes yours. Geneva Healthcare will no longer be involved.
This service is charged at one-off fee, which includes:
- Meeting with you to discuss your requirements
- Writing and placing an advert
- Screening and interviewing possible applicants
- Criminal history checks and CYFs checks where appropriate
- Two verbal references of recent employers
