The construction of a new state of the art hospital is currently under way due for completion in January 2017. This hospital will allow truly world class healthcare delivery to the community. Because of growth in the new hospital, a number of Nursing positions at various levels are available in the Psychiatric Services Division.

The Psychiatric Services division is values driven and, with established consumer and carer support programs, aims to provide excellent services to patients living with a serious mental illness.  In the new hospital, it will comprise of an 80 bed psychiatric inpatient unit, which includes a mother-baby unit, adult inpatient unit, older persons inpatient unit and extended care unit.

If you are a driven, dedicated and experienced Psychiatric Nurse, ideally with a post graduate qualification (though not essential) then we want to hear from you!  You will pride yourself on taking accountability for your actions and responsibilities and you will see yourself as a highly skilled Nurse who gives outstanding care to your patients and to the community. You will love working within your chosen field of nursing and you strive to develop in your specialty.
