We are seeking people who are customer service and people
oriented with a strong, flexible, 'can-do' attitude. You
would also need to be energetic, keen, enthusiastic, good at
thinking on your feet and multitasking. In addition,
excellent PC skills including the use of Word and Excel and
Database management are essential.
We are looking for people who enjoy people and the challenges
and rewards of helping people be it in the community or health
facility and who have previous experience in people related
positions, including but not limited to:
- Customer Service & Administration
- Sales and Business Development
- Recruitment
- Registered Nurses or other qualified healthcare
professionals
- Carers
- Community Service Workers
- Or other positions from within other health sectors in the
community, public/private hospitals, mental health, and aged
care.

Our Recruitment Process
Candidate Screening
Within two weeks of receiving your application we will advise you
by email whether your skills and experience meet our screening
criteria and whether you have been short listed for further
processing. This process may include an initial phone screen
and or an email with a request for some additional information.
Interviews
Interviews are typically face to face wherever possible but maybe
by phone initially for regional and international positions.
Interviews are both behavioural and competency based.
Psychometric Testing
For permanent positions, all shortlisted candidates are
asked to complete psychometric testing. We are currently
using the CAT test and the more in-depth Hogan Assessments.
Hogan Assessments are taken on line and candidates are provided
with verbal feedback as to their profile. We will also advise
how the profiles fits with the suitability for the role.
Other pre employment screening or
verification
Dependant on the job you are applying for, it may be that
additional pre employment screening may be required. This may
include police checks, work visa or residency verification.
Verbal referencing
A minimum of two verbal references are completed for each
short listed candidate. These from the current (where
appropriate) and former employers and are typically from direct
reports.
Selection Process
In addition to the information received from all of the above we
are looking for candidates who we feel have the edge to ensure the
best cultural fit thus offering a win win for both the potential
new employee and the company.
Other key things we may consider are any previous recruitment
(and or Geneva Health) experience, any previous relevant training
and education.
