Training Opportunities
Temping with career options? Why not?
Whether a caregiver, a nurse, a community support worker or
working in a more specialised field, Geneva Health recognises the
need for you to constantly refresh and update your skills. To
assist you with this, we provide a wide range of courses including
CPR, Patient Handling, Challenging Behaviours to name a few.
For non-registered staff, we also provide opportunity for you to
complete the National Certificate in Health, Disability and
Aged Support - Level 2 (at little or no cost to you).
This is an NZQA qualification that is fast becoming a minimum
standard for the industry.
For registered staff, we provide a variety of specialised
training courses as well as financial support towards your APC and
portfolio requirements.
Once you have registered with
Geneva Health and sucessfully completed an interview your
Geneva Consultant can discuss upcoming training
opportunities that might be applicable for you in your role
as Geneva Agency Staff.
