Registered Nurses
As a Geneva Nurse you may be placed in assignments with minimal
orientation, therefore your skills and experience need to be of a
high standard.
Acute care placements require a minimum of two years post
graduate experience in the area you are being placed in. You
must also have practiced in these areas within the previous three
years. Training and orientation to new specialities may at
times be available, depending on our client's needs.
Aged care assignments require a minimum of one years' post
graduate experience and your skills must include junior staff
coordination and manual handling. For those who have not
practiced in an inpatient setting for more than three years,
orientation to eldercare is available.
Healthcare Assistants (HCA)
The skills and experience required from HCAs can vary and we may
not always be able to place you across all assignments available.
Healthcare Assistants will require either a NZQA level 4 caregiving
qualification or at least one years' experience.
Community Support Workers (CSW)
The skills and experience required from CSWs can vary and we may
not always be able to place you across all assignments available.
You will require either the National Certificate in Mental Health
Support or at least one year's experience in either mental health
or disabilities. You must be able to drive a manual van and
have a full driver's licence.
Psychiatric Assistants (PAs)
The skills and experience required from PAs can vary and we may
not always be able to place you across all assignments available.
You will require either the National Certificate in Mental Health
Support or at least two year's experience in either acute mental
health or level 4 community facilities.
